Step Forward.

Updates on the ongoing mission and aid work being performed.

Maceio recently hosted synod for the IRB churches. Some highlights from synod include: considering the future form and shape of the Theological College; appointing a standing committee for examination of graduating seminary students; interaction with Aldergrove Canadian Reformed Church regarding long-term planning; and an official, approved text of the Nicene Creed (in Portuguese).

Our missionary Rev. De Graaf was able to celebrate his 55th birthday on November 15, 2015. What a great blessing to have him able to serve in the ministry and mission field for so many years! We pray that he will be able to continue in this role for many years to come. Rev. De Graaf will also be visiting Canada at the end of May/beginning of June. He is looking forward to sharing news about the ongoing mission work in Brazil and will also be available for some preaching. More details regarding his schedule to come.

Gospel Action Brazil is looking for some assistance in the multimedia/social networking department. If you or someone you know is socially minded and willing to help, please contact us. This may be especially suitable for a college student looking for some practical experience.

There are still some sponsorship opportunities available, especially for individual students at John Calvin Christian School in Maceio. Please visit for more information and ways to donate.

Please pray for the graduating seminary students, Marcel Mattos, Iraldo Luna, and Lucio Mauro, as they come to the end of their internships and prepare for examination; for Rev. De Graaf and his family; and for the work of Gospel Action Brazil and especially the sponsorship program.
